SC&T was founded in 2002 to serve a growing demand for surveillance and audio-visual installation. We realized early that companies installing these systems were growing at an incredibly fast pace, and they ran into the same problem: Traditional cabling solutions were costly, inefficient, and didn’t scale. We set out to fundamentally change the way installers accomplished their jobs, saving them time and money.
Since our birth, we have proudly designed and manufactured hundreds of audio-visual cabling extenders, converters, and parts that have helped our partners accomplish millions of installation projects around the globe. Smart Cabling & Transmission Corporation, or SC&T for short, was born out of a need for more efficient and cost-effective connectivity, and that need exists and grows today.

Developed anti-interference products to tackle video loss issues caused by the surrounding environment without compromised project quality.
Introduced VGA/ component video extenders to complete the CCTV system for remote monitoring.
Extended a new product line to serial communication RS232, RS485, and serial communication field.
Implemented HDBaseT technology and branched out to serve the Pro AV industry.
Opened a new product line for TCP/ IP extender and media converter, preparing for the IoT (Internet of Things) generation.
Opened a new product line for SDI transmission for CCTV and Broadcast market.
Introduced HDMI, VGA over IP technology, providing flexible solutions for Pro AVer to explore more possibilities in video & audio extending, switching, splitting, and routing.
Introduced HD-CVI, AHD, HDTVI extenders to the CCTV market.
Introduced fiber extending solution on HDMI product line.
Developed and released HDMI over DVB-T extender for broadcast use.
Implemented FPGA technology to minimize engineering boundaries for better customization and value-adding services.
